Sacred Hood

The Sacred Hood of the Barefooted Carmelites is a contemplation place since 1630. Majestic and rare, the Cedars of Buçaco (Cupressus Lusitânica), the Eucalyptus of Tasmania, the Sequoias, the Araucarias, the Firs and the Pine Trees of the Himalayas grow in an atmosphere of an almost religious silence.
