The centre of the city of Viseu has developed a series of deep urban changes, in order to integrate visually, hearing and physically challenged citizens.
This inclusion strategy can be seen in the following transformations: removal of architectonic barriers, the construction of paths for blind citizens; countdown counters in the pedestrian crossing lights and kerb ramps for blind citizens near the pedestrian crossings.
